319,954 new sales landed across 122 areas; prices rose most in Trafford (+9.7% over 12 months), and softened most in Westminster (−25.4%); across England, 17.9% of homes that changed hands in the last five years resold for less than the previous owner paid (nominal) — rising to 29.6% for homes bought new.
